Our extensive backgrounds in painting and restoration, prior to our formation of Rembrandt, gave us a solid foundation of experience and knowledge to guarantee quality painting.. Tom Orban-President
Tom began painting in 1977 In Monterey, California. His projects included restoration of landmark Victorian homes, as well as buildings on famous Cannery Row and Fisherman’s Wharf. Later, he developed Tom Orban Painting Co. and began painting “custom” homes in Carmel, Carmel Valley, Pebble Beach, and surrounding areas.

He moved to Naples, Florida in 1990 and brought with him innovative painting methods that have become industry standards used today. In 1997, he joined with Scott Ritter and formed Rembrandt Painting, Inc., specializing in painting newly-built and existing homes in exclusive developments such as Port Royal, Grey Oaks, Bonita Bay, Quail West, Twin Eagles, and many others. Homes painted by Rembrandt have been featured in "n-the magazine of naples", "Open House Magazine" (a magazine of interior design and architecture), and newspapers.

Tom was elected in 1997 to the Board of Directors of Southwest Florida Chapter of PDCA (Painting and Decorating Contractors of America). In 1999 he was elected President of Southwest Florida Chapter PDCA and to the state council’s Board of Directors. He was then elected President of Florida State Council PDCA in 2001.

In addition to his painting company, Tom has coached his two sons in Little League baseball since 1991, and after dedicating four years to its Board of Directors, he was elected President of the Greater Naples Little League in 2002, a position he currently holds.

Scott Ritter-Vice-President
Scott began painting in Massachusetts as a steeplejack specializing in painting, gold leafing, slate and copper work, and restoration of old New England church steeples.

After moving to Florida in 1980, his love of music and wood led him into guitar repair and building, learning more about exotic woods and wood finishing. This is a hobby he still pursues today.

Scott’s painting career took him into some of Southwest Florida’s finest homes where he met and eventually formed a partnership with Tom Orban. Scott is also active with the PDCA, attending trade shows and seminars to learn the latest techniques in the painting industry.

Tom and Scott believe that their success is based on their shared business values which include never jeopardizing quality at any price and always supplying a positive workplace.
